"I have a child who is 4 1/2 years old, what class could they join?"
​
Our kinder karate class is for kids 3 1/2 to 4 years old! At 5 years old, they would join our kids beginner class!
"I have a teenager, would they join the kids or adults class?"
Adult classes are for ages 14 years old and up, but we sometimes let 13 years old join the adults class, depending on the individual.
"I trained at another studio, how do I know which belt level I would be at your school?"

Grand Master Nagayama will assess your martial arts training and place you accordingly!

"How long are your classes?"
​
Classes are one hour which includes 15 minutes of stretching.

"When does my child get to spar?"
​
All students begin to spar at the intermediate level!

"My kid attends a charter school (or is homeschooled) and requires a physical fitness credit. Does your studio fulfill that obligation?"
